Bonnie Wilson
Bonnie Wilson is the Vice President of Vancouver Community and is responsible for providing leadership support to the operations team and community health services.
With over two decades of leadership in health care, Bonnie Wilson, Vice President, Vancouver Community for Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) is responsible for providing leadership support to the operations team and community health services through a number of community health centres and programs including home health, mental health, substance use, primary care and long-term care.
Bonnie started her health-care career as a Speech Language Pathologist and was also an Educator and Patient Services Manager at G.F. Strong Rehabilitation Centre, before transitioning to community services. In recent years, she has held senior positions at VCH, leading region-wide strategic initiatives, including our COVID-19 testing and vaccination response, along with our successful accreditation in 2023.
Prior to becoming the Vice President, she was the Executive Director with Vancouver Community, leading a team of operations directors with a focus on mental health and substance use, home health, palliative care, primary care, long-term care, assisted living and supports for adults with disabilities.
Bonnie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Manitoba and a Master of Science in Applied Speech Language Pathology from McGill University.
