H1N1
The H1N1 influenza virus is a respiratory disease of humans caused by type A influenza virus.
The World Health Organization declared the H1N1 pandemic over on August 10, 2010. During the pandemic, the H1N1 virus crowded out other influenza viruses to become the dominant virus. This is no longer the case. Many countries are reporting a mix of influenza viruses, as per normal influenza season. Although the pandemic may be over, the H1N1 virus will continue to circulate for years to come.
