Our Central Intake Team is here to offer information and help connect you to the mental health service that will best meet your needs. Our goal is to match a person’s needs to the right services and resources at the right time. Services include assessment, resource identification and linkage, and short-term treatment.

How to access

  • Check eligibility

    • Adults aged 19+
    • Residents of North Vancouver and West Vancouver, including Bowen Island and Lion’s Bay experiencing non-life threatening mental health and substance use issues. 
  • Get a referral

    We require a referral from a family doctor or walk-in clinic.  You can expect a call from a Central Intake team member within three days of receiving a referral.

How to get here

HOpe Centre is a four-story building that is part of the Lions Gate Hospital campus of care. We are located at St. Andrew’s Avenue and 13th Street with our main entrance on St. Andrew’s Avenue.  Underground paid parking is available at HOpe Centre as well as time-limited street parking in the surrounding area.  HOpe Centre has elevators to access all floors as well as a ramp at the main entrance.  We are close to transit with bus routes #255 and #240 available at St. Andrew’s Avenue and 15th Street.
