Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) uses a specialized machine with strong magnets and radio waves to create detailed images of the body.

It is a safe way to get a closer look at structures and tissues in your body including the brain, spine, joints, muscles, abdomen, and blood vessels.

How to access

  • Get a referral

    Have your physician complete a regional MRI requisition form and appropriateness checklist. 

  • Confirm appointment

    A medical imaging clerk will contact patients to book an appointment. 

    Call 604-875-4684 to change or cancel an appointment.

We operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
