The Adult Day Program provides therapeutic exercise and recreation activities designed to improve seniors' health and well-being with chronic physical, mental or emotional challenges. Our organization strives to meet the needs and interests of seniors while providing support, respite and education to their caregivers.

How to access

  • Get a referral

    Ask a health-care professional to make a referral on your behalf or contact the Vancouver home and community care office at (604) 263-7377 to arrange your care. Once your referral is received, the organization will call you to book an intake appointment.

    Eligibility is determined by home and community case managers in conjunction with Adult Day Program professional staff based on an assessment process.

We are closed on weekends and all statutory holidays.

How to get here

RCSS is located in East Vancouver by the intersection of East 22nd Avenue and Renfrew Street. Street parking is available for visitors along East 22nd Avenue and Nootka Street. Once seniors are admitted into the program, we can assist with HandyDART bookings for pick-up and drop-off.

The Renfrew-Collingwood Seniors’ Society plays a key role in supporting our participants to remain in the community as long as possible by providing social connections and purposeful activities in a safe and welcoming environment. We operate two sites, including the Chown Adult Day Program.

Renfrew Collingwood Seniors Centre

The Renfrew Collingwood Seniors’ Centre is also known as the Alice Frith Centre. It is operated by the Renfrew-Collingwood Seniors’ Society with funding through Vancouver Coastal Health and the City of Vancouver.
