Richmond Bridge House is a 10-bed residential short-stay crisis intervention facility for adults aged 19 and over who are experiencing a mental health crisis but do not require acute psychiatric hospitalization.
About Richmond Bridge House
A short stay crisis intervention facility in the community for Richmond residents 19 and over who are experiencing a mental health crisis but do not require an acute psychiatric hospitalization. Clients are cared for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and can be admitted for a maximum of 14 days.
Richmond Bridge House provides a safe supportive environment where clients have the opportunity to learn new skills to better manage their illness once they are discharged back into the community.
How to access
Richmond residents aged 19 and over who are experiencing a mental health crisis but do not require an acute psychiatric hospitalization.
A person must be referred by health-care professional. Referral must include a physician assessment within the last 24 hours. All referrals are screened prior to admission to ensure the facility is able to provide safe care.
