We are committed to ensuring minimal disruption during ongoing construction on our campus.
Where to park
- Park in areas clearly designated for patient parking, including our Parkade
- The Parkade is only accessible via Gilbert Rd. See the green arrow entry point on
- Do not park in designated construction zones
- Paid parking remains in effect
Where to do drop-off/pick-up
- Next to the North Entrance, in the Green Zone, there is a designated clinic drop-off and pick-up zone with free 10-minute parking.
- By the Park Centre Entrance, in the Blue Zone, there is a designated Cancer Care and Surgical Daycare drop-off and pick-up zone with free 10-minute parking.
- Patients can also be dropped off and picked up at the Main Entrance, but there is no drop-off and pick-up zone parking near the main entrance.
Richmond Hospital entrances
- Closest entrance to the parkade is the South Entrance, open daily 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Main Entrance is accessible via the designated path around the construction area, out to Gilbert Road and back across the parking lot, open daily 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- North Entrance, open daily, 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Park Centre Entrance, open daily from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Emergency Department remains open 24/7
What’s happening at Richmond Hospital
Richmond Hospital will be adding a new nine-floor acute care tower, the Yurkovich Family Pavilion, which includes a bigger emergency department, more operating rooms, an intensive care unit; a fully equipped medical imaging department; a pharmacy; and short-stay pediatrics. The Richmond Hospital Redevelopment Project is in Phase One.
