The Sea-to-Sky Peer and Family Advisory Committee (PFAC) is one group of volunteers contributing to consumer involvement at Vancouver Coastal Health. The overview of this committee has been provided by members to help illustrate their goals and contributions to mental health and substance use in the region.

About the Sea-to-Sky PFAC
Our committee meets virtually every month to discuss how we can improve Mental Health and Substance Use services for families and consumers, and to learn about developments in services through guest speakers and information-sharing.
Goals
- Obtaining and maintaining high-quality, comprehensive mental health and substance use services by building on new and existing community networks
- Developing recommendations around key mental health issues
- Addressing gaps in services
- Developing strategies aimed to enhance programs and services for clients
