Community care facilities inspections support the delivery of quality care in licensed adult and childcare facilities by assessing sites, staff and qualifications for eligibility and suitability.

What to expect

We support the delivery of quality care in licensed adult and childcare facilities by providing the following services:

  • Information to the public,
  • consultation and resources,
  • inspection and assessment of potential facilities and sites,
  • assessment of the licensee or manager to determine eligibility,
  • assessment of qualifications and suitability,
  • inspections,
  • assessment and support of licensed facilities,
  • investigation of serious incidents, abuse, complaints and contraventions to the Community Care and Assisted Living Act and Regulations,
  • investigation of facilities operating without a Community Care Facility License.
