Support when a loved one dies
Sometimes, patients will not recover from their underlying illness or injury. The death of a relative or friend is one of the most stressful things that can happen in life. If death is sudden or unexpected, your feeling of shock can be overwhelming.
As you try to deal with your grief, it can be difficult to remember what the nurse, doctor or social worker said to you. It can be even more difficult to think of what you need to do next.
We hope the booklet, When Someone Dies, will answer some of your questions, help you make necessary arrangements and provide resources to take care of yourself during this time.
