Vancouver General Hospital's (VGH) Trauma Centre is a leading accredited Adult Level 1 Trauma Centre in British Columbia, Canada, and is the quaternary referral centre for trauma patients in the province.

What to expect

Trauma clinics provide services for trauma patients of the hospital after being discharged to the home. Intended for patients needing post-trauma treatment for such things as gunshot/stab wounds, fall treatment, vehicular accidents, internal injuries.

Outpatients 2 - 4 weeks post discharge receive dressing changes, wound checks, referrals and follow-up.

    We provide services for patients admitted to Vancouver General Hospital after sustaining trauma and discharged to home. It is intended for patients needing post-trauma treatment, such as gunshot/stab wounds, fall treatment, vehicular accidents, and internal injuries.
