Vancouver Coastal Health invites the next age group to book a COVID-19 vaccination appointment
B.C.'s Provincial Health Officer rescinds orders for COVID-19
This news release contains information that is more than six months old and may be out of date. On July 26, 2024, B.C.’s Provincial Health Officer issued an order to end the public health emergency for COVID-19 and rescinded all related orders.
Vancouver, B.C. – Starting today, Sunday, Mar. 28, Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) invites those 73 years of age and older (born in 1948 or earlier) to call 1-877-587-5767 to book their COVID-19 vaccination appointment.
To prepare for your call, please have available a pen and paper, personal health number, full name, date of birth, postal code and phone number. The appointment booking toll-free phone line is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days a week.
The following age groups are eligible to book their COVID-19 vaccination appointment:
People in Richmond, Vancouver, North Vancouver and West Vancouver
- Seniors 73 years of age and older (born in 1948 or earlier) can call now
People in Sunshine Coast, Powell River, Whistler, Squamish, Pemberton and Bowen Island
- Seniors 70 years of age and older (born in 1951 or earlier) can call now
Indigenous peoples (First Nations, Métis, Inuit)
- Indigenous peoples 55 years of age and older (born in 1966 or earlier) can call now
VCH is appealing to family members, friends, neighbours and social services agencies to help reach eligible people in the community and encourage people to book their vaccination appointment as soon as they are eligible.
