About

The UBC Sleep Disorder Program is a multi-disciplinary program including specialists in psychiatry, respirology, neurology, and internal medicine.

We treat a broad range of sleep disorders including obstructive sleep apnea, insomnia, restless legs, parasomnias, narcolepsy, complex sleep disordered breathing, and REM sleep behaviour disorder.

New patients

Your initial clinic visit will be with a sleep physician. It will include a comprehensive consultation to gain as much information about your sleep complaints as possible.

You may receive a sleep diary approximately one month before your sleep clinic appointment, which may be used to gather information about your daily sleep patterns.

Intake questionnaire

If this is your first time coming to the sleep clinic for a sleep medicine consultation, you may be asked to complete a questionnaire before your appointment.

UBC Hospital Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I)

Our CBT-I Program is administered virtually by sleep specialists with expertise in this area. It is only offered to patients already registered in the Program, and requires an internal referral from the sleep physician.
